Atlanta, March 5th 2016. When I told my American colleagues I was going to Atlanta for a week-end getwaway, almost all of them gave me that weird look suggesting “Why the hell are you going there ?!” To this I would naturally reply: “According to Wikipedia, Atlanta is the seventh most visited city in the US and has a lot to offer: biggest Aquarium of the country, Coca-Cola museum, Olympic Park, Civil Right Center, Martin Luther King Center and not to mention great southern food made of fried chicken, grits and iced tea.”
Final Verdict? I did enjoy all the above but I have to admit, besides this there is not much: the city is widely spreadout and there is no real city center which I found a bit disruptive. Now I understand the weird look, but hey it’s one more US city checked from the to go list and more pictures!

Atlanta, 5 mars 2016.
